1. Who we are

worqinc (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a technology company registered in Malta. We are the data controller for personal data collected through worqinc.com.

2. What we collect

We only collect what we need to respond to you and to run the website securely:

• Contact form: your name and email address, and, if you choose to provide them, your company, phone number, the service you are interested in and your message.
• Emails and calls: the information you share when you contact us directly.
• Technical data: when you visit the site, our hosting provider records standard server information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. This is used for security, troubleshooting and performance monitoring.

We do not use analytics, advertising or social media tracking on this website, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

3. How we use your data and our legal basis

• To reply to your enquiry and, where relevant, prepare a proposal: this is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and is in our legitimate interest of responding to business enquiries.
• To keep the website secure and working properly: our legitimate interest in operating a safe and reliable service.
• To meet legal, accounting or regulatory obligations where they apply: legal obligation.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making, and we never sell it.

4. Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted service providers who process data on our behalf, under contracts that require them to protect it:

• Microsoft Azure: hosts this website in the EU (West Europe) and provides application monitoring.
• Microsoft: our business email, where enquiries are received.
• Twilio SendGrid: delivers contact form submissions to our inbox.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States. Where that happens, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights.

5. How long we keep it

• Enquiries: for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up, and no longer than 24 months after our last contact unless you become a client.
• Client records: for the period required by Maltese accounting and tax law.
• Server and monitoring logs: for a limited period, normally no longer than 90 days.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you
• have inaccurate data corrected
• have your data erased
• restrict or object to how we process it
• receive your data in a portable format

To exercise any of these rights, email info@worqinc.com. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information and Data Protection Commissioner in Malta (idpc.org.mt).

7. Cookies and local storage

This website does not set tracking or advertising cookies. When you respond to our cookie notice, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so the notice does not appear again. This stays on your device and is not sent to us.

Fonts, images and videos are served from our own website, so no third-party services are contacted when you browse.

8. Links to other websites

Our site links to partner websites such as monday.com and Xero. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please read their privacy policies when you visit them.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
